You can also avail of private accommodation in a Bed & Breakfast or as a couchsurfer. Many house owners have opened their back gardens to those looking for a place to pitch their tent for the night. See the links below.
You can buy whatever equipment and provisions you need for your trip in Ribe. In addition, there are local grocery shops in the following locations: on the route itself in Egebæk-Hviding; 4-5 km south of the route in Roager, and 4-5 km east of the route in Sdr. Hygum.
In the event of an accident or illness, the on-call doctor can be contacted at +45 70 11 07 07 from Monday - Friday between 4 PM - 8 AM and 24/7 on Saturdays and Sundays. At other times, you are to contact your own GP. In the event of an emergency, dial 112 (police, fire- and rescue services).
